A music festival aiming to raise money for a St Albans school is set to return for its 12th year.
The M Festival has been an annual fixture in St Albans since 2009, when a group of parents and staff at The Marlborough Science Academy decided to create a music festival as a parent teacher association fundraising event.
Run by the same team that founded the event, the festival has now raised more than £110,000 and attracts around 3,500 guests every year.
This year’s festival will include acts such as Kaspar & The Swamp Dogs, Electric Umbrella, King Violet, Bob Marley Revival, The Shantlys, Ultimate Coldplay, and RPJ Band, as well as school bands and choirs.
Attendees can enjoy an onsite funfair and various fun activities, including a silent disco. A full cash and card bar will be on site, serving a range of wines, beers, ciders and gins, as well as food carts.
Gates to the event open at 1pm on Saturday, July 1. Tickets can be bought at the website.
