Published on: 11th October 2020   |   By: Holly Bullen   |   Category: Uncategorized

Fire crews attended an address in Watford on Friday October 9, after reports of a washing machine fire.

Crews were called to Aqua, a dry cleaners and laundrette, in Courtlands Drive at around 8:45pm on Friday evening.

Two fire engines attended the scene, one from Garston Fire Station and one from Watford Fire Station.

A spokesperson from Hertfordshire County Council confirmed that the family in the flat above the dry cleaners evacuated as a precaution but there were no casualties from the incident and the fire crews were at the scene for about an hour.
