A road in St Albans has been shut by emergency services as a car has crashed into a house down the street.
The collision happened around 8.15am this morning (Thursday, October 17) in Fishpool Street and a fire engine and police units attended the scene.
Luckily, no one was trapped or injured in the crash which involved a silver car.
A structural engineer was requested, and the incident was handed over to Herts Police.
A spokesperson for Herts Police said: “A vehicle collided with a house, causing significant damage. No one is reported to have been injured during the incident. Officers remain at the scene at this time and a structural engineer has been called to assess the damage to the building.”
