St Albans Rangers FC’s Under Nine team has received its new kits for the season, as part of a two-year sponsorship deal with Specsavers St Albans.
St Albans Rangers, located just off of the Arsenal FC and Watford FC training grounds, was created 38 years ago with the mission to make grassroots football more accessible.
After only entering league football this year, the Under Nine’s team has already found success in the Hertfordshire Youth League, earning a promotion to the Oak League in their first year.
Ali Hashim, Optometrist Director at Specsavers St Albans, said: “We are always looking for new ways to enrich the lives of the St Albans and surrounding residents in one way or another.
“St Albans Rangers embody this. With the number of teams, they have and the number of years they have been around for, it is an honour to partner with the club by sponsoring the U9s team.”
U9 team manager Mark Betteley said: “We’re thrilled to have the support of Ali and Specsavers St Albans. The sponsorship is a massive help on our costs and keeps the team accessible to players and parents as we embark on our first league season.
“We can’t wait to show off our new Specsavers-sponsored kits across Hertfordshire!”
