A local artist and former teacher at local colleges West Herts and Harrow is having her work exhibited at the Mosaic Jewish Community in Stanmore this month.
Marcia Kuperberg, originally from Australia, has lived in Stanmore for more than 50 years. Painting in oils and acrylics is her professed “first love”, and her current exhibition at Mosaic features landscapes from all over the world.
In addition to vivid scenes of France, Spain and Italy, Marcia is excited to present one of her newest pieces: a specially painted six-foot work depicting a rabbi at worship.
Marcia said: “I paint with strong colours and textures. I take a bit of a ‘look, see, paint’ approach; when I see a scene that takes my attention, I usually use it for a painting.”
The exhibition is now open at the Mosaic Jewish Community on Halsbury Close, Stanmore Hill, until February 28. To make an appointment to view the display, visit www.choosemosaic.org/event/artmosaic-marcia-kuperberg
