A group of local residents and some Aldenham Parish councilllors, supported by external advisers, has produced The Radlett Neighbourhood Plan (RNP).
This plan sets out detailed policies on what will be acceptable in Radlett when planning applications are considered in future.
Neighbourhood Planning is a government initiative and the RNP has been approved by an inspector qualified for this purpose and by Hertsmere Borough Council and Aldenham Parish Council.
If approved by a majority of Radlett residents voting in a referendum on May 6, the RNP will be binding on Hertsmere Borough Council when planning applications for Radlett are considered.
A leaflet setting out the main policies will be delivered shortly to all households in Radlett. Guidance will be given in the leaflet on how to access the full Plan.
You can vote by post or on May 6 at your designated polling station.
