Life is sweet for Suren

Published on: 6th September 2018   |   By: Tim Green   |   Category: Uncategorized

Life is sweet for one of the newest business owners in Watford – so much so he even appeared on national TV earlier this month.

Suren Vis took over Sweets for All in Watford Market in March and he was contacted by Sky Sports to take part in a special report on Watford FC’s barnstorming start to the season.

Suren, a lifelong Hornets fan, said he was contacted by Sky after they spotted a Facebook post which showed he has a sweet cart painted in Watford colours.

He said: “I said I hoped it continued for as long as possible. I think they went to do the Watford and Arsenal press conferences on Friday and then came to see me!”

As well as TV stardom, Suren prides himself on his charity work. Earlier this year, he raised hundreds of pounds for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, a cause close to his heart.

He said: “It’s local to the community and they’re landing so often and saving so many people’s lives.”

If you or your family member has a sweet tooth, a visit to Sweets for All is an absolute must. Suren is able to source any sweet you can think of and he also offers old fashioned customer service  and value for money.

He said: “I source the sweets myself and pass on the savings to my customers. I want the shop to be everyone’s shop and customers have the opportunity to rekindle childhood memories. I also have 36 varieties of sweets that are sugar free and 10 that are sugar free and gluten free. They are all diabetic friendly too so everyone’s happy!”

Sweets for All is at Unit 5, Watford Market.
