Published on: 22nd September 2019   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Chalfont St Peter A.F.C

Chalfont St Peter AFC let their comfortable early lead slip in their 2-2 league draw against Bracknell Town this weekend (Saturday, September 21) leaving them in fourth place in the BetVictor Isthmian South Central Division table.

It was all action in the first half as Kofi Quartey took the lead for Chalfont in just the first minute of the home tie, before getting his and the team’s second in the 18th minute.

Seventh placed Bracknell didn’t lay down though, and got their first goal in just the 19th minute through Nathan Minhas before Daniel Bayliss pulled it back for the away side in the 36th.

The second half at Mill Meadow was a far quieter one and both sides had to settle for a point.
