Three popular comedians will take to the stage at the ‘Live at the Radlett’ show on September 8.
The event will take place at the Radlett Centre from 7.30pm, with Troy Hawke, Lloyd Griffith, and Keith Farnan on the line-up.
Troy stars in the popular online series Greeters Guild and sold every ticket at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe, whilst Lloyd has featured in It’s A Sin, Jonathon Ross’ Comedy Club, Ted Lasso and more. Keith is known for his appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Live at the Comedy Store.
Keith said: “The beauty of a live comedy show is it takes you away from your screens and social media where people are trying to out-tweet each other over whose conspiracy theory is more prescient.
“In a theatre, comedians stand on stage and a room full of strangers forms an instant community of laughter and joy celebrating smartly formed surprises. Comedians are just magicians who use words instead of rabbits because words are cheaper to source.”
Greg Dexter, general manager at the Radlett Centre, said: “Comedians have always been popular at the Radlett Centre, but we had never had a regular club until we were approached by Anglia Comedy.
“The show in May is completely sold out, so you can see how successful it is. Audiences really seem to love the format of three comedians on the same bill, and Anglia consistently comes up with a great lineup. September 8 is now on sale, and we are greatly looking forward to another sell-out.”
