Officers investigating a robbery in St Albans are appealing for anyone with information to get in contact.

At around 6.15pm on Monday 25 November a man was approached in Oswald Road next to the railway station exit by two men wearing crash helmets, who threatened him with a knife and stole his silver and red Piaggio scooter.

The two men, who were described as being white and in their mid-20s, rode off on the stolen scooter and another moped.

The victim was unhurt during the incident

Detective Constable Tony Kong, from the St Albans Local Crime Unit, said: “This incident took place in the early evening at a busy location with several people walking past.

“I’m appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or events before or after, to get in contact with me via email: tony.kong@herts.pnn.police.uk”
