Berkhamsted Castle has won the 2020 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for Best Landmark after receiving outstanding reviews on the website.
The popular attraction, which announced the win on August 19, received the award based on a full year of reviews on Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel platform.
Adrian Barham, chair of the Berkhamsted Castle Trust, said: “We are delighted to be acknowledged with this award. With our Visit Britain accredited ‘We’re Good to Go’ Covid-19 safety measures in place, the castle has continued to provide a welcome relief and safe haven for many to visit over the past few difficult months. Now is a wonderful time to visit Berkhamsted Castle, with so much flora and fauna in abundance around our great historic site.”
