Nine girls from Girlguiding Radlett were chosen to represent Hertfordshire Girlguiding at the recent Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Girl Guides recently had the opportunity to attend a rehearsal of Trooping of the Colour in London.
The girls joined members of other uniformed youth groups including Police Cadets and Fire Cadets from across London as spectators of Her Majesty the Queen’s 70th Birthday Parade.
At The Colonel’s Review of the Troops, the Brownies, Guides, and a Ranger were there to see Prince William represent his grandmother.
The march was one of the highlights of a weekend of national and worldwide festivities honouring the Queen’s 70 years of duty, devotion, and example on the throne.
Catherine Bilsborough another member of Girlguiding Radlett, said: “The girls aged eight to 16 had a fantastic day which included watching the procession from close quarters and having impromptu marching lessons from the Police Cadets and their leaders.”
