A girls football team from Kings Langley are on the lookout for new players to join their successful 11-a-side team. Kings Langley Belles, managed by Mark Underwood, currently sit top of the Herts Girls Partnership League but require three or four new players under 14 to join the squad. Mark told My Kings News that the squad have a great camaraderie and added that it really is a great opportunity to meet new friends. He said: “We have lots of team bonding events that go on such as going out for bowling as well as going to Wembley to watch international games. We’re going to England v Germany (women) later this month.” “We really do have a laugh and it is a real social event. Sometimes we struggle to get enough players so I really do encourage any girls who want to join as it is great fun.” Matches are played on Saturday mornings and training takes place on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Woodside Leisure Centre in Garston. If anyone would like to join the team, please contact Mark on 07958690755.
