A charity, which holds regular coffee mornings in Bushey, is inviting residents to come along.
Shrimad Rajchnandra Love and Care host the Cuppa & Catch Up meetings at the London Spiritual Centre on Falconer Road in a bid to end loneliness and support the community.
Preeti Rambhiya said they are always looking for people to volunteer and help out, with the most recent event on Valentine’s Day inviting residents to decorate a cupcake for a special someone.
She said: “We are completely volunteer-led; the whole idea of the project, especially after COVID, is to combat loneliness and mental health which have come to the forefront.
“Also with the cost-of-living crisis, it’s a new warm space to offer people.”
The sessions have been quite well received so far with around 20-25 people attending.
Anyone is welcome to attend, with sessions held on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 10-12pm.
