Is this your bike?

Police investigating an attempted theft of a bike are asking the owner to come forward.

Police were alerted to the attempted theft outside McDonalds by CCTV operators on April 29. Two men, aged 32 and 25 from Watford, have been arrested in connection with the offence and are on bail but officers would like to speak to the owner. Officers have been working to identify who the bike belongs to but have been unable to find an owner. DC Daniel Devico from the Local Crime Unit at Watford station said: “We’d be keen to trace the owner to help us with the investigation so if this is your bike, please contact mevia the non-emergency number 101. “I’d like to use this opportunity to remind members of the public to ensure their bikes are registered on the online property register www.immobilise.com. That way, if your bike is lost or stolen and recovered by police then we can determine who the owner is and return it to you.”
