A resident from Kings Langley is taking on a half marathon next month in support of a charity which is close to her heart.
Molly May Baldwin is set to run the Richmond Park Half Marathon on September 10 to raise money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
This is an important cause for Molly May, who sadly lost her grandfather to lung cancer in 1996 before she was born.
Speaking ahead of the run, Molly May said she was both nervous and excited.
She said: “This will be my first half marathon. Training is a bit difficult, both mentally and physically.
“Unfortunately, me and my siblings were not lucky enough to meet grandpa. However, over the years, we have been told so many amazing stories about the beautiful man he was, inside and out.
“I will be so grateful for any help and support you can give me for this amazing charity!”
Molly May is aiming to raise £500. To donate, please visit www.gofundme.com/f/molly-mays-half-marathon-2023
