A new care home that focuses on spiritual wellbeing has opened in Pinner.
The grand opening of Kailash Manor Care Home took place on December 16, with councillor Janet Mote, Mayor of Harrow, and David Simmonds CBE, MP for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner, amongst the guests.
Mayor Mote said: “Delighted to open the Kailash Manor with David Simmonds MP. It is an amazing care home with beautiful facilities, very welcoming with a spa, gym, separate dining room for family to visit, hairdresser, temple and cinema.”
The word Kailash translates into ‘one who bestows peace’, and is in keeping with the home’s focus on the wellbeing of the mind, body and soul.
A spokesperson for the care home said: “For our residents, we’ll offer a peaceful setting where they can live a fulfilled life, surrounded by our team of caring professionals. Our home specialises in residential, nursing, dementia and respite care and is part of the award-winning TLC Care Group.”
