A Gerrards Cross man studying at the University of Cambridge has achieved a Guinness World Record.
James Cozens, 23, is studying for a PhD in Statistical Signal Processing and Machine Learning. He is also a passionate juggler, having picked up the hobby seven years ago.
Now, James is the world record holder for the most objects juggled whilst riding a unicycle; he juggled seven balls on a unicycle for 16.77 seconds.
James said: “I have a firm belief in the potential of juggling to support mental health, as it can alleviate stress and anxiety.”
He has also been able to merge his love of juggling with his university work, having created software that will give competitive jugglers more insight into their technique through virtual tracking, visualisation and simulations.
James is also planning on competing for Team GB in the World Juggling Federation’s 2023 championships on July 22.
