Four Amersham residents have been recognised as part of His Majesty King Charles III’s Birthday Honours List.
Cynthia Verna Davis, Caroline Sandra Brewster, Inna Hryhorovych and Professor Christine Susan Norton were among the 18 Buckinghamshire residents honoured on the list.
Cynthia received an OBE for her services to equality, diversity and inclusion as part of her role as founder of the Diversifying Group.
Caroline, programme management office lead at HM Revenue and Customs, received an OBE for her public and charitable services.
Inna, who is the headteacher at St Mary’s Ukrainian School, received an MBE for services to education and to the Ukrainian community in the UK.
Professor Norton, a professor at King’s College London, received an MBE for services to nursing research.
His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, The Countess Howe, said: “Their exceptional contribution to the fabric of our society enriches all our lives. I proudly applaud their achievements and thank them for their dedication. Their example is an inspiration to us all and they are richly deserving of this distinction.”
