Detectives investigating a burglary in Watford have released an image of distinctive items of jewellery that were stolen.
The offence happened in Middle Way between 12.45pm and 2pm on Tuesday, February 8, when the back door to a property – which was locked – was forced open.
A large quantity of cash, designer handbags and jewellery – including the earrings and necklace pictured – were taken.
Detective Constable Judith Muskett, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “We have already carried out a number of enquiries in relation to this incident, and have recently secured agreement from the victim to release an appeal to the public.
“We believe that a grey-coloured Volvo V40 was in the area at the time of the offence, and that several people were seen getting into the vehicle in a hurry.
“Have you seen the pictured items for sale anywhere online? If you have any information that you believe could be helpful to our investigation, please get in touch.”
