A police investigation is underway after human remains were found on the border of south Ruislip and Northolt. Hillingdon Police were called at 4pm Wednesday, March 16, to reports of skeletal remains found in an overgrown section of embankment in Rabournmead Drive, off Field End Road. Officers attended and found what has been identified as human bones. Enquiries to indentify them are ongoing. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “The discovery is currently unexplained and it is not known how long the remains have been there or whether the remains are male or female. “At this stage the discovery is being treated as unexplained and officers retain an open mind in regards to the circumstances. “Detectives from Hillingdon Borough CID, supported by detectives from Homicide and Major Crime Command, are investigating.” Anyone with information has been urged to contact the police on non-emergency number, 101.
