A Bushey man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run which left a teenager with “serious injuries”.
The incident occurred on Gammons Lane, Watford, at the junction with Ashby Road at around 7pm on Monday, November 18.
The 18-year-old woman was crossing Gammons Lane when the collision occurred.
The vehicle involved is thought to possibly be a white transit van with ladders on the roof.
The teenager was in a serious condition and taken to hospital by ambulance.
A 36-year-old man from Bushey has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failure to stop after a road accident and driver of a vehicle involved in a road accident that failed to report that accident.
At the time of writing, he remains on bail while enquiries continue.
