Sir Oliver Dowden, MP for Hertsmere, was recently knighted in Windsor.
The MP was given the Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath at the ceremony on Wednesday, November 6.
Announced in the Dissolution Honours in July, Sir Oliver MP was appointed for his political and public services.
He was presented the honour by Her Royal Highness Anne, The Princess Royal, at Windsor Castle.
Sir Oliver MP said: “I was honoured to be appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath.
“It was a very proud moment to be presented with the Honour by HRH Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, at Windsor Castle in front of my family.
“I would like to thank them for their support in my time in public service. I would also like to thank the people of Hertsmere who have continued to put their faith in me as their Member of Parliament over the past decade.
“Representing Hertsmere in Parliament is a huge privilege, as well as previously serving in a number of government positions, including Deputy Prime Minister.”
