Mayfield Watford, the retirement village in Hertfordshire, has raised £272 for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Coffee morning fundraising events took place at Audley Group’s villages across the country, bringing together owners, neighbours, friends and families to raise money for Macmillan’s largest annual fundraiser for people facing cancer. Those who attended contributed a range of baked goods providing a wide selection for people to enjoy.
Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley Group comments: “The property owners and teams at Mayfield Watford put in a huge amount of effort for the coffee morning this year, and the results speak for itself. It was a brilliant opportunity for owners and those in the local community to come together to raise money for a brilliant cause.
