The 101st edition of the Croxley Green Home & Produce Show took place this September, with people from across their village submitting their food, flowers and handcrafted goods for a variety of prizes.
Held at York Mead Primary School on Saturday, September 10, more than 400 entries were made, and 67 exhibitors took part.
Winners included the Adamski family in the egg cup category, Christine Cory in floral arrangements, David Tait for the heaviest marrow, and John Jowers, who won top prize in six categories, including the coveted Banksian Medal for the most amount of prize money won.
Show committee member Justine Osler expressed her delight at the return of the event in a speech before announcing the winners, saying: “It’s great to be back after missing a couple years and I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone here today and to those who have entered this year.
“We really appreciate your support and participation and are glad to be back with this fun and friendly community event this year.”
The event is set to take place once again next year, at the same place, on September 9. To find out more, visit their website.
