Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man from Hemel Hempstead was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
The 31-year-old allegedly broke into a sliver Renault Scenic parked in Lower Adeyfield Road at 5.15pm on Tuesday, March 26.
Hertfordshire Constabulary attended the scene and arrested the man. He has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Officer Stephen Cahill said: “A member of the public witnessed this incident and phoned police. We urge this individual to please come forward to assist our investigation.
