A county councillor for Garston is urging residents to dispose of their rubbish properly.
Cllr Tim Williams did a litter pick with a local resident on September 8 on a stretch near the verges of the A405.
He said: “For some strange reason I find litter picking quite therapeutic, the weather was good, and I’m always surprised at what you find on a litter pick.
“On the litter front it was the usual finds of cans, bottles, crisp packets etc – a broken TV was found – why do some people find it acceptable to behave like this and just throw their rubbish out like this, they can quite easily dispose of it responsibly.”
