Hertsmere Borough Council is working hard to help businesses become COVID-19 secure, resume trading safely, and protect their staff and customers as lockdown is eased.
The Environmental Health and Licensing Team is offering a FREE Zoom webinar for local businesses on Wednesday, April 7, between 2pm and 4pm to help them prepare for reopening.
Paul Sawyer, chief environmental health officer, said: “Our officers are working hard to ensure local businesses can open safely and securely in line with the governments lockdown roadmap.
“When businesses and workplaces are permitted to open they must ensure their premises are ‘Covid secure’ with a risk assessment specific to the business and complete the ‘Covid secure’ checklist.
“The free webinar is an opportunity for local business owners to ask specific questions they may have about guidelines and how they can meet them. It’s only two hours, but could save you a lot of stress and confusion.
“Our website also has a wealth of information covering risk assessments, the NHS Track and Trace app, working safely in different sectors. Visit hertsmere.gov.uk/businessreopeningadvice for the latest advice and guidance.”
To register your interest in attending the free webinar please email ehtraining@hertsmere.gov.uk with your name, your business name, and any questions you may have in regards to re-opening your business.
