HELP OUT: Police release image following attempted shoplifting in Hemel Hempstead

Police who are investigating attempted shoplifting in Hemel Hempstead have released a photograph of a man they would like to identify and speak to.

It happened in Sports Direct inside the Marlowes Shopping Centre at around 4pm on Sunday 18 April. An attempt was made to remove several items of clothing from the store without payment.

PCSO Simon Jackman, from the Dacorum Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We are keen to identify this person as we believe they were in the area at the time of the offence and may have information that could assist our enquiries.”

Officers are asking anyone who may recognise the person in the picture to contact police as soon as possible quoting reference 41/28967/21.
