A 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man were approached by two offenders in Amersham.
Two offenders followed a 17-year-old boy, from Amersham Railway Station. They asked him to check his bag and identify himself. The victim managed to run away.
It is believed the same offenders then approached a second victim, a 22-year-old man, in Amersham Road, near to the junction of Bois Avenue in Chesham Bois and asked him for the time. The victim refused to give this information, which resulted in the offenders threatening him, attempting to steal his phone, and punching him in the face before leaving the area.
Nothing was stolen, but the victim sustained injuries to his face. He did not require hospital treatment.
The incidents happened between 11.30pm and midnight on December 23, 2021.
The first offender is described as a white boy, approximately 5ft 10ins tall and around 17 to 18-years-old. He was wearing a black Nike balaclava, a dark coloured puffer jacket and dark trousers.
The second offender is described as a white boy, approximately 5ft 9ins tall and around 17 to 18-years-old. He was also wearing a black puffer jacket.
