Police have confirmed that a woman’s body has been found in St Albans this morning (Wednesday, January 15).
Officers were called to Cottonmill Lane by a member of the public at around 9am this morning after finding the body of a woman.
A heavy police and ambulance presence were reported on social media and officers are still in attendance at the scene.
Herts Police have confirmed that no identification has been made at this time and enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances around the death.
