If you’re a keen golfer who’s perplexed by the new World Handicap System (WHS), Northwood Golf Club’s (NGC) general manager has released a video tutorial which could be of great help.
Just as lockdown came into effect, golf’s ruling bodies, the R&A and United States Golf Association, made what has been described as a “seismic” change to how the club game is administered.
Every club golfer is affected by changes which mean that, when it is again permissible, they can play any course in the world with the correct handicap allowance for their playing ability.
Ray Grant (pictured), NGC’s general manager, said: “This video is designed to cut through all the data and new terminology to help you understand the system and how it will affect life on the golf course in the future.”
