HAVE YOUR SAY: Buckinghamshire Council wants your opinion on current on-street parking restrictions

Published on: 3rd June 2020   |   By: Amneet Kaur   |   Category: Uncategorized

Buckinghamshire Council is working with parish councils of Chalfont St Giles and Chalfont St Peter to review current on-street parking restrictions in various locations.

The aim with the review is to achieve a balance between parking needs and road safety.

The roads affected in Chalfont St Peter include the one near Robertswood School, Joiners Lane and Lower Road.

During the informal consultation stage the council had put forward some initial proposals.

They then used the responses received to draw up revised proposals.

Buckinghamshire Council is now asking you to leave your opinion.

The proposals vary at different locations and include changes to the times that waiting restrictions apply; introduction of limited waiting restrictions and introduction of resident permit parking areas.

An introduction of ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions on some sections of road for the safety of road users and pedestrians alike is also part of it.
