Police investigating the theft of two distinctive motorcycles from Chorleywood have released this image in a bid to trace them and those responsible for the crime. The bikes were stolen from the garage of a house on Berry Lane between 4pm on Tuesday, July 28, and 1pm the following day, along with a men’s mountain bike. The stolen items include a white Husqvarna FE250 Enduro motorcycle, an orange KTM EXC-F 350 motorcycle and a black men’s Rocky Mountain Element 30 mountain bike. PC Nick Surridge from Rickmansworth Local Crime Unit said: “The stolen bikes are quite distinctive so I am appealing for anyone who thinks they may have seen them to contact me. “I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated. Any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could greatly assist the investigation.” Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Surridge via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C2/15/1754. Alternatively, if you have any information about this incident you can contact the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their Anonymous Online Form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
