HASH STASH: Man charged after cannabis factory worth £150,000 discovered in St Albans

A man has been charged with cultivating cannabis following the discovery of a cannabis factory in St Albans.

Klodijam Koci, aged 26, of no fixed abode, previously arrested on suspicion of burglary, has been charged with cultivating cannabis, a class B controlled drug. He has been remanded in custody until January 3, 2023.

A 26-year-old man remains under investigation for abstracting electricity.

The cannabis factory has a revised estimated street value of £150,000.

It was discovered in the early hours of last Tuesday, November 29 by eagle-eyed CCTV operators at St Albans City and District Council.
