Rickmansworth Hockey Club’s Men’s 1st XI and 2nd XI find themselves at the top of their respective leagues this season with the 2nd XI currently having a 100% winning record after 7 games.

Long standing 2nd XI skipper Gavin Toms has even suggested he may carry on as skipper for a few more years, given the current success.

The achievements don’t stop there with the Ladies 1st XI currently second in their league, having been promoted last season.

The ladies 2nd XI and men’s 3rd XI are sitting comfortably in the middle of their leagues.

The club has also seen some amazing developments in the Junior section. An U12 boys tournament has been hosted and the U10 girls have been taking part in tournaments with other local clubs.

Rickmansworth Hockey Club is a friendly club based at Rickmansworth Sports Club, playing and training at Royal Masonic School.

It’s long-standing club with members who have been part of the RHC family for 20 -plus years. Having such a strong start to the season means they are looking at the prospect of growing the club and introducing more teams across the adults and junior section.

If you’ve got a love for hockey, want to try a new sport or are looking to get back into it, email them at or reach out on their Facebook or Instagram page.
