A hospice in Northwood recently celebrated its 44th birthday and didn’t let the pandemic hold them back.
Michael Sobell Hospice marked the anniversary of opening its doors to patients on February 14, 1977 with a tremendous cake.
The cake, home-made by Bhavini Panda, Michael Sobell Hospice Occupational and Physiotherapy Assistant was enjoyed by all on the special day.
This is not the only excitement at the hospice however, as they have announced the date for their annual garden sale as Saturday, May 22.
A spokesperson for the hospice said: “This popular event, organised by the hospice volunteer gardening team returns, and will be taking place in the hospice gardens for all you gardening lovers out there.
“Browse and buy plants, bulbs, pots, seeds and get those creative juices growing to help spruce up your garden space. You have been LAWNED – don’t miss it!”
