A man pleaded guilty in court yesterday (Thursday, January 25) in connection with an assault in Hemel Hempstead earlier this week.
Police were called following an incident at Hosking Court, on Maylands Avenue, between 11.15pm and 11.40pm on Monday, January 22, where two people were assaulted.
One of the victims, a man aged in his 50s, sustained substantial facial injuries.
An investigation was subsequently launched by the Dacorum Local Crime Unit.
George Mallaburn, 30, of Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead, was arrested in connection with the incident, before being charged with wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.
He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday, where he pleaded guilty to both charges. He will be sentenced at a later date.
