Berkhamsted FC (BFC) have secured the support of two former footballers turned sports broadcasters in their search for sponsors of their new stand.
In December’s Berkhamsted News, we reported that the club had started building a new 100-seater stand and were on the lookout for sponsors to put their names to the new seats.
Since then, the Sponsor a Seat campaign has garnered the support of former Arsenal player Ray Parlour and former Tottenham and Manchester United striker Alan Brazil, who now work together at Talksport.
Ray told BFC: “Grassroots football is the heartbeat of English football, and I’m delighted to support BFC’s new stand.”
Alan added: “BFC is a terrific club, and I’m proud to sponsor their new stand.”
The support adds to an impressive season so far for the Comrades, who at the time of writing sit second in the Southern League Central Division in the 8th tier of English football, behind Real Bedford.
