GREAT CAUSES: St Albans estate agent launches £10,000 charity campaign

Published on: 14th January 2022   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

St Albans based estate agents Ashtons have launched their 2022 For Life’s Great Causes charity campaign.

Ashtons are actively involved in numerous events and support several local charities. This year is no different! Ashtons are now actively fundraising to reach their target of £10,000 which they will donate to charities within our local community.

After charities across the country have struggled due to the pandemic, Ashtons are determined to make this year’s campaign bigger and better than ever.

This year’s shortlist has been compiled from nominations received by the public, with the community invited to vote for their favourite charity.

The charities this year are, the Pepper Foundation, The Ataxia Telangiectasia Society, Earthworks, Herts Welcomes Refugees, Carers in Hertfordshire, Potential Kids, Redbourn Community Group, Herts Vision Loss, The Hygiene Bank, The Hospice of St Francis, Age UK Dacorum, JOCA, Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline, Hector’s House, Appledown Rescue Kennels, Jubilee House Care Trust, Isabel Hospice, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, Youth Talk and Herts Inclusive Theatre.

Ashtons would love the local community to help decide which local causes deserve a little extra financial support this year.

An online poll will be open for the public to vote for their favourite charity opened today (January 14) at

The poll will run until Friday, February 4 when the winning three charities will be announced.

Rather than just one charity receiving £10,000, Ashtons distribute the funds 50 per cent / 30 per cent / 20 per cent to the top three charities as voted for via the online poll.
