The trustees of the Radlett & District Museum are hoping to officially reopen its doors on May 19.
After a long COVID-related delay, the museum finally opened to the public for the first time in October 2020, only to be closed again at the beginning of November for the second lockdown.
It was reopened in December, but was forced to close again when the third lockdown was imposed after Christmas.
Under the government’s COVID-19 roadmap, museums are permitted to reopen from May 17.
The trustees are planning to reopen the museum at 10am on Wednesday, May 19 and from 10am until noon on Saturdays and Wednesdays thereafter.
The museum is located behind the Radlett Village Institute, 413 Watling Street, Radlett, where there is adequate parking space.
Strict COVID-19 safety procedures will be followed for the foreseeable future.
