Watford charity Goods for Good won two awards at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2023, hosted by Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce.
Goods for Good is a charity that collects donations such as clothing, footwear, bedding, toiletries and hygiene goods which are then distributed to people and communities in need, from older people, evacuees, refugees and asylum seekers to people who have been affected by modern slavery and human trafficking. They have sent more than £40million in humanitarian aid all over the world.
The two awards won by Goods for Good were Inspiring Business of the Year 2023, sponsored by SA Law and Viatris, and Business of the Year West Herts, sponsored by Alliance Intelligent Scaffolding.
Briege Leahy, CEO of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “The Inspiring Herts Awards give us the opportunity to highlight and celebrate those businesses across Hertfordshire which are making a real difference to the growth of the county.
“It has been an absolute pleasure to celebrate their outstanding achievements and successes with these awards.”
