GOOD WIN: Clinical Kings take all three points

Published on: 2nd November 2019   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Kings Langley F.C

Kings Langley FC took all three points in their game away at Redditch United after winning two nil this afternoon (November 2).

After some great first half saves by Minter, Kings forwards made all the difference in the second half as they put two past a good Redditch side.

Kings were put under constant pressure by the home side and were lucky to go into the first half still level.

A chance by Romario Martin whistled past the post on the 17 minutes which nearly put Redditch one nil up.

Minter was a man on a mission in between the sticks as he was determined to stop every shot which came his way.

Shots by Martin and Hickman were kept out by Minter on minutes 27 and 30 which kept it level at the break.

Minter continued his form in the second half and made some great saves to deny the opposition.

Against the run of play, Kings made it one nil after Mitchell Weiss found the bottom right corner to break the deadlock.

Kings began to find their feet after their goal and nearly made it two nil but Callum Coyle’s effort was saved by the keeper.

Louis Collier finished the game on the 90th minute and made it 0-2.

Kings will be happy to take all three points from todays game and will hope to continue their form in their next game against Salisbury on Saturday, November 9.
