Rickmansworth and Chorleywood residents looking for a fun way to get fit and make friends in the new year now have the opportunity to join a newly launched running club.
RunHub members meet every Sunday morning in locations around Rickmansworth and Chorleywood, with the location changing weekly to keep things fresh.
Speaking to Chorleywood News, coach Adam said: “RunHub is all about good vibes, community, and making running feel fun instead of intimidating. There’s no pressure, no expectations, no ‘you must run this pace’ energy. It’s just real people showing up, getting a run in, meeting new faces, and starting their Sunday on a high.
“You can turn up on your own and instantly feel part of the group. Everyone chats, laughs, supports each other. It feels more like a team than a traditional running club. Plus the energy after each run is elite and the socials are great fun.”
Asked why people should come along for the first time, Adam explained: “As soon as you turn up, you realise how chilled it is. You don’t need to be fast. You don’t need to have run loads before. Just come as you are. We always stick together, look after everyone, and you’ll never be left on your own. Most people who were nervous on their first week now turn up every Sunday without fail.”
Details of each weekly run are posted on Instagram and in the RunHub WhatsApp group on Fridays. If interest increases, midweek runs will be added to the timetable.
