Pupils from a school in Bushey have taken on a fundraising challenge to raise money for new outdoor play equipment.
Organised by the Friends of Bushey Heath Primary School (FOBHPS) to coincide with the jubilee, pupils from across the school ran 1,000 laps of the school field.
Taking it in turns, to run the laps, collectively the students reached their goal of 100 miles and raised £2,700.
Speaking to BusheyNews, Ceri Morris, from FOBHPS, said it was great to see the school community coming together for a good cause.
She said: “The idea started because the school is on a mission to transform the outdoor play equipment, the reason this is so important is because the school really believe since COVID that it’s so important for children to play outdoors and be active.
“The atmosphere was amazing, no one had done anything like this in the school community for many years.”
