A furry friend from Radlett has become an internet sensation, accumulating more than 307,000 followers on social media, who enjoy daily videos of Kobe the Golden Retriever.
Owner Jeremy, 25, from Radlett, began posting clips of his dog Kobe on social media in January 2020 and the golden retriever soon became a famous face in Radlett and beyond.
Jeremy told RadlettNews: “I could always tell that Kobe made a lot of people happy when I took him out on walks, so I wanted to share the joy by making the videos.
“I started posting videos last year and Kobe’s page just blew up in the space of a month. Since then, as I’ve continued to post photos and videos the page has just kept growing organically.”
Jeremy left his job working in property in March 2021 to focus on running Kobe’s social media pages full time as his following grew at a rapid rate. He earns revenue from adverts on videos and is now looking into creating dog branding and merchandise for his much-loved dog.
Kobe’s fans come from all over the world including America, Canada and the UK, and he has been recognised by members of the public when out walking in the park.
