Pinner Camera Club are calling on residents to attend their newest photography exhibition to raise money for an animal charity.
A Wild Life: Tales of Tails from Behind the Camera with Andy Skillen is being held in collaboration with wildlife photographer Andy Skillen and will take place at Fairfield Church in Northwood Hills from 7.15pm on Monday, December 2.
Andy’s love affair with wildlife began at a very tender age, and for the last 30 years, he has made this childhood obsession his life and career. As a photojournalist and wildlife photographer, Andy travels the globe in the pursuit of stories and images portraying the beauty and the struggles of the natural world.
Speaking to PINNERnews, a spokesperson for the camera club said: “From the barren tundra of the High Arctic to the depths of the Congo Basin, the Himalayas to the jungles of South America, and with a bunch of stops in between, Andy will take us on a whistle-stop tour of recent and ongoing commissions for the likes of BBC Wildlife amongst others, sharing the euphoric highs (and the considerable lows) of working at the frontline of the natural world.”
All money raised on the evening will go towards the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, with the £10 ticket cost going towards drinks and canapes.
