GO GARDEN!: Green-fingered residents invited to enter Kings Langley garden competition

Published on: 9th June 2024   |   By: Bryn Holmes   |   Category: Uncategorized

Kings Langley Parish Council’s Gardens Competition is back for another year, celebrating green-fingered residents’ spectacular creations.

The competition will be held over the weekend of July 27 and 28, with the judges supported by Ian Barrow from the Sunnyside Rural Trust.

Parish councillor Alan Johnson said: “The Gardens Competition is open to anyone with a hanging basket, tub, trough, unusual feature, allotment, or garden!

“The rivalry, whilst always well-mannered, results in a good deal of banter between our gardeners. It is always a wonderful surprise to see what local residents can do with everything from potted plants to cottage gardens with dazzling variety and colour.”

The deadline for entries is July 19. Please email klpc@kingslangley-pc.gov.uk for an entry form or download a copy from the parish council website.
