Singer and former Girls Aloud band member Cheryl Cole paid a visit to the Café on the Common in Chorleywood yesterday.
One of the café’s interns, George, was ‘delighted’ to demonstrate his customer service to the pop princess and received some ‘lovely feedback’, according to Mission EmployAble’s social media.
The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer is reported to live in Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire.
Mission EmployAble offers an internship programme for young adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to gain employability skills.
The café is staffed by people with learning disabilities, Monday to Friday, as they work to a college timetable. At weekends the café is staffed by young adults from the local community.
