Fullerians RFC Women are on the search for more players for the team after an impressive start to their campaign.
On Sunday, September 15, the Furies began the season in style with a 34-17 win over a High Wycombe side that had beaten them twice last season.
Dazzling tries from Maggie Brummer, Mae McGaulley-Foy, Gemma Dillieto, Katherine Brim and Zoe Abbot helped the team storm through their season opener.
The addition of new young talent to the side has also been very promising, as several under 18 girls made their debuts at the start of the campaign.
A spokesperson for the club said: “At Furies, we’re more than just a team; we’re a movement. Women’s rugby isn’t just a sport; it’s a powerful force for mental wellbeing, lifelong friendships, fitness, and belonging. We’re a family that welcomes every new member with open arms.”
If you’d like to join the Furies, please email womensrugby@fullerians.co.uk to find out more.
The team trains at 7.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
